What it does
Booking an appointment schedules a patient visit on the clinic calendar. Even when Agent D suggests a follow-up date or drafts a recall booking, the appointment is only booked when you explicitly confirm the slot.

What Agent D can do
Agent D can read the patient recall interval, check calendar availability, and propose appointment times. It cannot finalise the booking without your review.
Safety (what needs your Confirm)
An appointment is never placed on the calendar automatically. You or clinic staff must confirm the proposed date, time, and practitioner.
Common questions
Can Agent D book an appointment without asking me?
No. Agent D only suggests available times. A clinician or front-desk staff member must confirm the booking.
Where do I see pending booking requests?
Pending bookings appear in the Waiting on you list under the Today or Admin sections.
Does booking an appointment send an SMS to the patient?
Only if the clinic notification setting is enabled and you approve sending the confirmation message.
