Telehealth
What it does
Telehealth is the video visit. You wait in a lobby, the doctor connects, and the call opens with simple controls.
When to use it
Use it for a video appointment booked by the clinic.
Step by step
-
Sign in, then open your appointment at the visit time.
-
Wait in the lobby. It shows the doctor's name and the queue status.
-
When the doctor connects, your phone rings and vibrates. Answer to start the video call.
-
In the call, use the controls to mute your microphone or turn your camera off.
Also on this screen:
- Before the doctor joins, you may be offered a spoken check-in — a short question-and-answer about why you are there today.
What Agent D can do
- Agent D works at the clinic. It can read your check-in answers so the doctor is ready when they join.
Safety (what needs your Confirm)
- The video and sound are encrypted for the call.
- Find a quiet, private spot. Anyone near you can be heard.
- Telehealth is not for emergencies. In an emergency, call 000.
Common questions
The call will not connect. Check your internet, then close and reopen the app. If it still fails, ring the clinic. Can I turn my camera off? Yes, but the doctor may ask you to turn it back on for part of the visit. What is the spoken check-in? Short questions the app asks out loud before the doctor joins, so your answers are ready.
