Commands that draft a document

What it does

Slash document commands let doctors quickly draft standard consultation outputs directly from the chat box. Available commands include /consult (visit notes), /script (prescriptions), /labs (pathology requests), /imaging (radiology orders), /refer (referral letters), /handout (patient education sheets), and /preventive (preventive care plans). Short orders can display a fast Confirm card immediately.

Also on this screen

  • /consult (AD-071): Writes or updates the visit note.
  • /script (AD-072): Prepares a prescription. Dose is checked. You confirm before it is issued.

  • /imaging (AD-074): Prepares an imaging request.
  • /refer (AD-075): Writes a referral or other letter.

Safety (what needs your Confirm)

Every document drafted via slash commands remains an unfiled draft. Prescriptions run through the Allergy Gate. You must review the contents and click Confirm before anything is issued.

Common questions

Does /script check for allergies?

Yes. Every script drafted via /script is validated against patient allergies, blocking confirmation if a clash occurs.

Can I edit a letter drafted by /refer?

Yes. The referral opens in an editable drawer where you can modify the text, recipient specialist, and clinical history.

What is a fast Confirm card?

A short typed order, such as /labs FBC, immediately presents a single-click Confirm card for quick clinician approval.
