The Case CPD tool allows doctors to earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours through case-based reflective learning linked to active patient consultations.

What it does

Case CPD transforms real-world clinical encounters into continuing professional development learning. It generates an educational case vignette, a five-question clinical quiz with detailed rationales, and a reflection prompt. Completing the module awards 1.0 CPD hour.

When to use it

Use Case CPD after challenging, unusual, or educational consultations to fulfill your professional college learning requirements directly within your clinical workflow.

  • Five-question mastery quiz: Interactive clinical questions exploring diagnosis, investigations, and management.
  • Immediate rationales: Comprehensive explanations provided for each question to reinforce clinical knowledge.
  • Clinical reflection prompt: A mandatory reflection text area (minimum 20 characters) to document how this case informs your future practice.
  • CPD point award: Automatically records 60 minutes (1.0 CPD point) in your educational portfolio upon successful completion.
  • Refresh lesson: Generates an alternative educational scenario if desired.

What Agent D can do

  • Agent D extracts learning themes from your consultation and constructs evidence-based educational questions.
  • Agent D scores quiz answers and compiles your learning log.

Safety (what needs your Confirm)

The app records learning time. Check with your CPD home whether it counts toward your CPD requirements. The app does not prove accreditation.

  • Case CPD modules are strictly educational and operate on de-identified clinical principles.
  • Completing a quiz does not alter patient notes, treatment plans, or prescriptions.

How many CPD hours do I earn per case?

Each completed Case CPD module awards 1.0 CPD hour (60 minutes) covering educational activities and performance review.

What happens if I answer a question incorrectly?

You can review the detailed clinical rationale and re-attempt the question until you achieve mastery.

Where can I find my completed CPD records?

Completed learning activities are logged in your practitioner Profile and can be exported for annual medical board reporting.
