When a source does not answer
What it does
Diagnify connects to multiple data sources, including laboratory feeds, imaging providers, and clinic appointment books. When a source fails to respond or is temporarily unreachable, Agent D displays a red Not checked banner. A quiet waiting list is never assumed to be empty if a data feed is down.
Also on this screen
- Try again (AD-012): Shows when Agent D cannot be reached.
- Not checked banner (AD-013): Names any source that did not answer, so a quiet list is not a lie.
- Details / Hide (AD-014): Opens one line that says items from a dead source are not counted.
When to use it
Check this banner whenever a feed alert appears, or when reviewing the results inbox after network disruptions.
Step by step
- Look under the day counts for a red line and Try again.

- Look for a Not checked line.

- Press Details on the Not checked line.

What Agent D can do
Agent D flags uncontacted systems, explains which feeds are offline, and provides a Try again button. It cannot fabricate or guess missing records from offline sources.
Safety (what needs your Confirm)
Diagnify guarantees that unread feeds are not counted as clear. You must use Try again or check the source directly before assuming all patient results are accounted for.
Common questions
What does the Not checked banner mean?
It means one or more external data feeds could not be reached, so some results or bookings may not appear in the count.
Does Try again reload all data?
Try again re-attempts the connection to the failed source and updates the waiting list as soon as data arrives.
Can I hide the warning banner?
You can click Details or Hide to collapse the explanation, but the status indicator remains visible until the feed reconnects.
