Inbox triage card
What it does
The inbox triage card helps doctors review incoming pathology and radiology results in batches. Agent D analyses each report, categorizing it with a suggested action (Recall, Urgent recall, Follow-up, or No action) and a concise clinical reason. A Tell the patients toggle allows you to choose whether recalls notify patients via SMS, mobile app, and email.
Also on this screen
- Inbox triage card (AD-057): A list of results with a tick, an act (recall, urgent recall, follow-up, no action), and a reason.
- Tell the patients tick (AD-058): Chooses whether recalls also send SMS, app inbox, and email. Urgent adds a phone call when the line is connected.
When to use it
Use the inbox triage card when clearing your daily results inbox to quickly process routine normal findings and identify urgent abnormal results.
Step by step
- Open Results, or look at the results line on Your day.

What Agent D can do
Agent D compares incoming results with reference ranges and past values, proposing appropriate triage actions. It cannot dispatch patient notices or file results without confirmation.
Safety (what needs your Confirm)
All triage classifications and patient notification texts must be approved by the doctor. Urgent recalls flag phone contact requirements.
Common questions
What does the Tell the patients tick do?
When ticked, approving the triage card queues draft notifications (SMS, patient app, email) to inform patients of their results.
What happens to urgent abnormal results?
Urgent results are placed at the top of the card with an Urgent Recall tag and a prompt for direct telephone contact.
Can I change Agent D's suggested action?
Yes. You can click any row to change the classification, edit the reason, or remove the item from the batch.
